Learning Intention: I can create a 3-D model of my species
Criteria:
- I sketch a detailed plan that clearly labels different parts
- I build my model and make revisions when necessary
- My model is clearly labelled
- I reflect on my design
The festive spirit has continued this week and we’ve loved every bit of it!! This week included our Christmas concerts and we had loads of fun finally performing the song that we had be practising for weeks. We sang loud and clear while on stage... and looked awesome in our elf attire. 🙂 We combined Ozobots with Invisible Emmie - a graphic novel we’ve been reading together as a class. The novel’s main character Emmie feels invisible while at school. She is quiet, shy and largely ignored by those around her. Our task is to create a 3D Ozobot track that will show how Emmie is being treated by her peers. Our first step was to create a blueprint plan of our track that included different codes to show how Emmie responds to being excluded. Our next step will be to build our track! And that’s exactly what we’ll be working on next week!! And we’re super excited!! Over the past few weeks, we’ve used our creative and critical thinking to create our very own animal species, with unique senses, behaviours, and habitats. This week we made 3D models of our species. Here was our criteria: Learning Intention: I can create a 3-D model of my species Criteria:
One more week til winter break! Can you believe it?!? Time flies! 🎄🎄🎄
