- our critical & creative thinking following a STEM activity in October,
- our personal responsibility by sharing how we overcame woodworking and Science Fair challenges
- our communication by identifying how we listen and contribute to group discussions
- An idea that we connected with
- Something that was different than your own ideas
Individually we then reflected on:
- My strengths in demonstrating empathy
- Examples and evidence of my strengths
- My goals to become more empathetic
- My plans to reach my goals
Grade 6s have been learning about…and fascinated by… Newton's Laws of Motion. To share our learning, we will be creating Rube Goldberg machines that include all three of Newton's Laws. We’re in the process of designing blueprints and thinking about how to include the laws of motion. We like hands-on learning so we’re already loving the activity.
